Our office for Vayalpadu Gramswaraj Farmers Producer Company Limited is right there in Society Colony, on the first floor at 11-260-2. It’s right across from the Nelima Superspeciality Hospital, so it’s easy to find even if the traffic gets a bit messy around there. We’ve been operating for a while now, trying to bring the farmers from around the village together. The idea of Gramswaraj is important to us, even if we don't talk about it in big fancy words. It’s just about being able to handle our own affairs and not relying on outsiders who don't know our land. We have people coming in and out all day, some looking for advice and others just wanting to see what the group is doing lately. It gets a bit noisy with the hospital traffic outside, but we manage. We handle a lot of the small details that individual farmers find difficult, like coordinating transport for the produce. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, and our desks aren't the tidiest, but the work gets done. We are just regular people from the area who want to see our farms do okay. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just talk, plan, and try to get through the year without losing too much to the middleman. If you’re in the colony, come up the stairs and say hello. There’s usually someone around. Coffee isn't great, but it's hot and the company is honest.
