Our small office is over at No.1-26Tmv in Kandriga village. Kalahasteeswara Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically just a group of local folks who decided to team up. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the cities. We mostly deal with the day-to-day stuff that comes with farming life in the post area of Kandriga. There’s always something that needs fixing or a plan that needs to be made for the next season. We don't spend a lot of time on the computer. Most of the work happens outside or sitting around a table talking things through. It's about getting the right tools and making sure the crops get where they need to go. Being in a village means everyone knows everyone. We started this because doing things alone was getting too difficult for some of the older guys. Now we share the load. It’s not a polished business with a lot of rules. We just do what makes sense for the season we’re in. If you come by the village and look for our spot, you'll probably find us mid-conversation about the latest rain or the market prices. We aren't looking to expand across the whole country. We just care about what’s happening right here in our own backyard. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise until the evening. We just take it day by day and try to help each other out when the harvest comes.
