Amar Steel Industries

Down here in Upleta, we run Amar Steel Industries. It’s a straightforward operation. We deal with steel, which means the place is mostly filled with heavy beams, sheets, and the sound of cutting. It’s a rough environment, not for everyone. The ground is usually covered in metal shavings and the air smells like burnt iron. We started this place because there was a need for steel work in the area, and we just kept at it. There isn't much to the building, just a large shed with a high roof to keep the rain off the machines. We don't have fancy brochures. If someone needs steel, they just come by and tell us what they’re looking for. The guys working the saws and the rollers know their stuff. It’s hot work, especially in the middle of the day, but that’s the nature of the industry. We take breaks when we can and try to keep the workflow steady. Some weeks are slower than others, but there’s usually something to be welded or cut. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what the local builders and farmers need for their projects. It’s a simple business run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We’ve been in Upleta for years and most people know where we are. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. It’s just how we live and work here. No big story, just steel.
