We are set up at Plot No. 617, which is right near the AIA office. It is a good landmark because people often get confused with the plot numbers in this area. Our business is all about metal, so the yard is usually full of heavy sheets and rods. It’s a rough environment where you have to watch your step. The cranes are often moving overhead, and the sound of metal clanging is something we hear all day. Our building is a simple structure made for utility rather than looks. The walls are a bit weathered, and the gate has a squeak that we haven't bothered to fix yet. We have a small office space where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s a place where sweat and hard work are the norms. We don't put on airs or try to act bigger than we are. We are just a local metal corporation trying to stay on top of our daily tasks. The proximity to the AIA office means there are always people walking by, but we mostly stay focused on what’s inside our fence. We’ve been here long enough to see the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We start early, work hard, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a practical life for practical people.
