Rajesh Metal Industries

Our place is out in Gidc, specifically Plot No A-2/2502. If you know where the Asian Paints Chowkdi is, we are right there. It is a very industrial area, so there are trucks and machinery sounds all day long. Across from us, there is an HDFC ATM, which is actually pretty handy for everyone working around here. Rajesh Metal Industries is just one of many units in this section, but we’ve made this spot our own. The air usually smells like metal or whatever the neighboring plants are running that day. It gets dusty, and the sun beats down on the metal roofs, making it pretty warm inside by noon. We have a small area for the office and then the main work floor. It isn't a showroom, just a place where things are made. We don't spend much on decorating. The walls are a bit stained, and the floors have marks from moving heavy stuff around. That's just part of the job. Most of the guys have been here for years. We know the tea stall guy around the corner by name. Life in an industrial estate isn't exactly quiet or pretty, but it's where the real work happens. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home. It’s a straightforward way to live.
