We are located over at Hexzone Arcade, specifically unit S-32. It’s right near Jayaben Modi Hospital on Valia Road in the GIDC area. It’s a busy corner of the industrial estate. Fabrication is what we do here at Om Tech. We deal with a lot of steel and welding. The shop floor is usually pretty hot, especially during the summer months. We’ve got a team of guys who know how to handle the torches and the heavy lifting. It’s a lot of measuring twice and cutting once. We spend most of our time out in the yard or on the shop floor rather than sitting in the office. The hospital nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Traffic on Valia Road can be a nightmare in the evenings when everyone is leaving the GIDC. We just work through it. We handle various fabrication projects, some big and some small. There’s always something that needs to be ground down or polished. We don’t have any fancy brochures or anything. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen what we’ve built for others. It’s just honest work. We try to keep things organized but in a fabrication shop, there’s always a bit of chaos with materials arriving and scraps piling up. It’s just us doing our thing.
