We are located at No. 2 Narayandeep Shopping Center. It is right near Hotel Prateen in the G.I.D.C area of Valsad. If you know this part of town, you know it smells like grease and metal most of the time. We make valves and gaskets for different machines. It is not very glamorous work. We spend hours measuring things and cutting rubber or metal sheets to fit. The shop floor is usually a mess of scraps and oil cans. We have been in this spot for several years now. My hands are usually stained with something dark that doesn't wash off easily. We drink a lot of water because the G.I.D.C heat gets pretty bad in the afternoons. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get stuff in or out. We just talk to the drivers and eventually, they move. It’s a lot of manual labor. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most people just find us because they know we are here in the shopping center. We use old lathes and some newer tools too. When the lunch bell rings at the big factories nearby, the whole street gets crowded with people looking for snacks. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's batch. It’s hard work, but it pays the bills for us and the few guys working here. We just try to keep things moving.
