Welspun Power & Steel Ltd is at 53, Kamdhenu Society in Anjar. If you know where Jota Hospital is, we are right behind it. Being in Kutch, we are used to the dry air and the busy industrial vibe of the town. This office is where we handle a lot of the power and steel business operations. It’s a regular house-turned-office in a residential society. This makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a giant factory floor. We have our desks set up and the coffee is always on. You can hear the hospital sounds and the traffic from the main road, but inside it’s just us working through the paperwork. Anjar is a hub for this kind of work. We’ve been at 53 Kamdhenu for a while. It’s easy for people to drop by since it’s a well-known spot. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly just calendars and some charts about steel production. The team here is small. We talk about the weather and the local news while we get our tasks done. It’s a simple way to run a business. We focus on the steel and power needs of the region. Most people in the society know us as the steel folks. It’s an honest, everyday kind of place to work. There is always a lot to do but we take it one step at a time.
