Over in New Anjar, we have our setup in the Gayatri Society. Our office for Welspun Gujrat Stahl Rohren Ltd is at House No. 50. It is right opposite the Gayatri Mandir, so if you find the temple, you basically found us. Being in a residential society means it is a bit more relaxed than an office on a main road. We see the neighbors going about their lives while we are busy with our own tasks. Kutch can get very dry and dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks and the shelves. The office is basically a house that we use for business. It has a small kitchen where we make our own tea and a main room where all the files and ledgers are kept. We have lived and worked in this part of Gujrat for a long time. The address is easy to remember because of the temple landmark nearby. We do not have a big corporate lobby, just a simple front door and some steps. Most of the time it is just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional bell from the temple. We focus on the daily logs and keeping the records straight for the company. It is a humble setup but it serves us well for the work we do. We like the peace of Gayatri Society compared to the crowded markets. We stay here and do our part every single day.
