S R Marbles & Granites

You’ll find S R Marbles & Granites at 176 Chandapura Anekal Road in Byagadadenahalli. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but there’s more space for all the heavy stone we keep. We have large rows of marble and granite standing upright in the yard. It’s a lot of grey and white and black stone. The sun hits the slabs in the afternoon and you can really see the natural patterns in the marble then. We spend our days loading trucks and moving slabs with the crane. It’s noisy work, and we’re usually covered in a bit of stone dust by the end of the day. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the materials without breaking anything. People usually come to us because they want to see the whole slab instead of just looking at a small sample in a store. We let them walk through the rows and pick out the exact piece they want for their house. It’s a practical way to do things. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the construction trucks passing by, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen Byagadadenahalli grow up around us. It’s steady work, and we like being outdoors most of the time. If you come by, just look for the big gate and all the stone slabs lined up inside. It's usually easy to spot us.
