Sati Granites

Sati Granites is over at 15, Jigni Industrial Estate, on the Bannerghatta Anekal Road. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the industrial side of town. The roads are often full of trucks and the air smells like machines and cut stone. We have a decent sized space here to keep our granite blocks and slabs. Working in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other people doing similar hard work. There’s a sense of camaraderie among the workers here. We start early, usually when the first trucks start rolling in. Granite is tough material to work with, but we’ve got the hang of it after all these years. We don't have a glossy catalog or a sales team. We just have our yard and our tools. Most of our customers are contractors who know exactly what they want. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the stone and making sure the cuts are right. It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work. The Bannerghatta Anekal Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get our loading done before the worst of it hits. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time, and we plan to stay right here. It’s where the work is, and we like being right in the middle of the action.
