We’ve been running Mahadev Rock Products for a good while now over at 74/1C in Kumbrahalli Village. If you know the Jigani area, you know how it is around here with the dust and all the heavy trucks moving back and forth on the Main Road. It’s not a fancy place by any means. Our yard is usually full of stone and rock in different shapes. Most days we are just busy with the machines running and trying to keep up with the work. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then. We’ve got a small crew of guys who know how to handle the materials. It’s hard work, mostly lifting and moving things around all day long. We started this because there was a need for it in this part of town. Sometimes the gates get stuck or the phone doesn't ring for a bit, but that's just how business goes. People come by asking for different types of rock for their building projects. We just show them what we have in the back. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just show the pile and tell them the price. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going on the Main Road. We try to keep things organized but with rock, it’s always a bit of a mess. Sometimes the rain makes the ground muddy and it’s a pain to get the trucks in and out. But we manage. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
