Trinity E.M.U.P.School

Trinity E.M.U.P. School is over in R.K Nagar, which is in Anantapur. This part of the state is known for being quite dry and dusty, and the school grounds usually reflect that reality. There is a simple setup here with a few blocks of classrooms arranged around a central space. Most of the families around the neighborhood are working-class people who want their children to have a decent place to study close to home. The school started with the idea of providing a local option so kids wouldn't have to travel too far every day. Classrooms are fitted with basic fans and blackboards. You won't find a lot of fancy decorations, just some student work pinned up here and there on the walls. Teachers spend their days moving from one room to another, often carrying stacks of notebooks to be corrected. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot, so the main lessons usually finish before the sun gets too high in the sky. The children in R.K Nagar are energetic, and you can see them playing in the dirt or chasing each other during the short breaks. A small office near the entrance is where we keep all the records and where parents come to talk about their kids' progress. It’s a very straightforward place. We don't try to be something we are not. This is just a space for the kids to come and learn their lessons every day of the week.
