B.Tech Colleges

Our place is known as Vagdevi Institute and we are located in the Bollavaram area of Proddatur. Specifically, we are down in Kathapeta. It is an engineering college so you see a lot of students carrying around heavy books and laptops all day. The building is pretty standard for this part of town. We have labs and classrooms that get used from early morning until late in the afternoon. It is not always the quietest place with the fans humming and students talking in the corridors. We handle the administration from a small office near the entrance. Most of us who work here have been in Proddatur for years. We don't really use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It is just about getting through the syllabus and making sure the equipment in the labs actually works when the students need it. The parking lot gets quite full and sometimes it is a bit of a mess getting in and out. We deal with the usual stuff like paperwork for exams and keeping the grounds somewhat clean. It is a lot of hard work but it is honest. People around here know us as a fixture of the neighborhood. We are just a local college trying to keep everything on track for the students who come here every day. It is a very normal, busy environment without any extra polish. There is usually someone fixing a piece of machinery or checking the wiring in one of the labs. It is very practical.
