Ananta Vidya Nikthan

Ananta Vidya Nikthan is tucked away here in Anantapur. If you know the 515001 area, you know it gets quite warm most days. Our school building stays fairly cool though, thanks to the thick walls and high ceilings. We have kids coming in from all over the neighborhood every morning. Most of them are wearing their uniforms, though some always forget their ties or have their shirts untucked. That is just how it is with children. The teachers arrive early to get the chalk and registers ready before the first period starts. We have a small playground where the kids run around during the breaks. It is mostly dirt and some patches of grass that struggle to grow in the heat. We do not really do big advertisements. Most families find out about us because their neighbors' kids come here. It is a very normal place. We teach the standard subjects and try to keep things organized for the students. Sometimes the bell is a bit late if the peon is busy with something else. We have a few trees near the entrance that give some nice shade for the parents waiting at the end of the day. Life moves at its own pace in this part of town. We are just here to make sure the students learn their lessons and stay out of trouble. It is a simple job, but it keeps us busy from morning till late afternoon every single day.
