Mpup School

Mpup School is out in Dattapuram, which is part of the Kadapa district. It’s a simple school in a place where everyone pretty much knows each other. The building is a basic structure, nothing fancy or modern about it. We have a few trees in the front that give some nice shade when the sun is beating down on Kadapa. Inside, it’s just classrooms with chalkboards and rows of benches. The kids are usually full of energy, especially during the lunch hour when they can finally get outside. Our teachers are folks from the local area. They don't have fancy offices; they usually sit together in a small common room when they aren't in class. We don't have a lot of money for big decorations or new paint every year. We focus more on the books and making sure the students learn their basics. It’s a quiet life in Dattapuram, and the school is a big part of that. There are no big missions or corporate goals here. We just want to make sure the kids get their schooling done properly.
