This place is located at Maruthi Nagar in Anantapur. The full address is 6-4-188, and my name, G. V. Raghavendra Prasad, is often associated with the office side of things here. It is a big area with lots of buildings and students constantly moving between classes. Being in Andhra Pradesh, the weather gets quite warm, so you see everyone carrying water bottles or standing in the shade. I spend a lot of my day handling the paperwork and talking to people who come into the administrative block. The corridors are long and have that smell of old paper and floor cleaner. Out in Maruthi Nagar, there are plenty of small shops where the students go for snacks or to get their notes photocopied during lunch. We have a lot of different departments spread out across the grounds. Sometimes it feels like you're walking miles just to get from one side of the campus to the other. The main gate stays busy with cycles and buses coming in. It’s a lot to manage, and things can get a bit disorganized when a new semester starts. We have many rooms with old wooden desks and blackboards. It is a bit noisy during the breaks, but when classes are on, the whole place goes very still. I’ve been working around these parts for a while. You get used to the pace of university life and the constant cycle of new faces every year.
