S L N Timbers

Out here in Madapura, things move at a slightly different pace than they do in the bigger cities. S L N Timbers has been part of the Kushal Nagar landscape for a good stretch of time. If you come by the yard, you will see piles of wood stacked up and the ground is usually covered in a bit of sawdust. It is dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. Instead, we have the open air and the smell of raw timber, which honestly is better. The rain can be a bit of a hassle when it comes down hard in Kushal Nagar, because we have to make sure everything stays dry under the tarps. We spend our days moving heavy stuff around and making sure the orders are correct. It is a simple life of physical work and honest dealings. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to see what kind of stock we have in, or just to complain about the heat. We use an old ledger for a lot of our notes because it’s just easier than staring at a screen all day long. The machinery makes a fair bit of noise, but after a few years, you don't even notice it anymore. We just keep our heads down and keep the timber moving for whoever needs it for their building projects.
