We are located in G. Kottala, which is near Guntakal in the Anantapur district. Our office is at H. No. 2/85 in the O. C. Colony. The name of our group, Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Farmers Producer Company Limited, comes from the local respect we have for our traditions. Anantapur can be a very dry place, and farming here is not for the faint of heart. We have to be very careful with how we use our resources. Most of us here are small farmers who have lived in this colony or nearby for our whole lives. We decided that working as a single company was better than trying to survive alone. It’s been a learning curve for all of us. We spend a lot of time at the office talking about seeds, fertilizers, and how to get a better price at the market in Guntakal. We don't have a polished way of speaking. We just say things as they are. If a crop fails, we talk about why and try to do better next time. It’s a community effort more than a business in the traditional sense. People stop by all the time just to check in. Our focus is just on keeping our farms going and making sure our kids have a future here. It is hard work, but being together makes it a little bit easier for everyone in G. Kottala. We just take things one day at a time here.
