Jaikishan Seetha Ramaraju Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out in Chintalpudi, which is part of the Koyyuru region. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s mostly green fields and people working the land. We named the company after Seetha Ramaraju because he is someone people around here respect. We are a farmer producer group, which basically means we are a bunch of local growers who decided to pool our resources. It makes things a bit easier when you have to buy supplies or sell what you’ve grown. Chintalpudi is a small place, so news travels fast and everyone knows what everyone else is doing. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a functional space where we meet up to discuss the crops. Some days we talk about the rain, or the lack of it. Other days we are figuring out the logistics of moving goods. It's not a glamorous job. We get our hands dirty and we deal with the same problems every other farmer faces. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just focus on the work that needs doing today. The people who come here are our neighbors and friends. We’ve all grown up in this area or worked these fields for a long time. It’s a community effort more than a business venture. That’s just the way it works for us. We just keep our heads down and try to make the best of every season.
