Mpup School

We've been here on the Main Road in Anantapuram for a while now. Most people know the building. It’s just a regular place where kids come to learn their lessons every morning. The gates open early and there’s always a bit of noise when the buses pull up. We don't have fancy stuff, just classrooms and some desks that have seen better days. The walls might need a bit of paint but that doesn't stop the teaching. It gets pretty dusty out here on the road, especially in the afternoons. Our teachers live nearby mostly, so they walk or take the local bus. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic passing by, but inside the compound, it’s mostly just the sound of kids reading out loud or playing during the break. We have a small yard where they can run around a bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It’s not a big operation, just a local school doing what it needs to do for the families around here. People stop by to ask about admissions or just to say hello to the staff they know. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with everyone coming and going at once. It’s just how it is here. We focus on the books and making sure the kids show up on time. That’s basically the whole story of Mpup School.
