We’ve been set up here at Plot No. 416-417 in the Gidc Estate for a good while now. Vithal Udyog Nagar is a busy spot, and we fit right in with the other shops around here. Most days, you’ll find us working on steel castings. It gets pretty hot by the furnaces, but that's just how the job goes. We handle different types of alloy steel and try to get the orders out on time. The foundry floor is usually messy with sand and metal scraps, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they need specific parts for their machinery. It’s a lot of physical work, pouring the molten metal and waiting for things to cool down. Sometimes the molds don't turn out perfect on the first try, so we just do them again until they're right. We have a small team here, mostly guys who have been doing this for years. We don't spend much time in the office; we're usually out back where the actual work happens. The machinery we use is old but reliable. Dealing with alloy steel takes a bit of patience because the heat has to be just right. We keep the gates open during the day so the trucks can get in and out easily. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular casting shop trying to keep up with the daily schedule and making sure the pieces we send out are solid enough for whatever they're being used for.
