We have been up here on the second floor of S-3 in the Arunoday Complex for quite a while now. Getting up those stairs at the Iind floor every morning is a bit of a workout. It is just how the building is designed. Down at Little Hutt Chokdi, it is always very busy with trucks and people moving through the Gidc estate area. Our office is not anything fancy at all. It just has some metal desks and a few old filing cabinets. You can hear the sound of the ceiling fans humming when the afternoon gets hot. We handle a lot of steel stuff here. It is mostly industrial materials for the factories that operate nearby. It is heavy, dusty work and the grime from the industrial estate gets into everything. No matter how much we sweep the floors, the dust always comes back. Most days, we are just coordinating where the loads need to go or talking to the guys working on the ground level. It can get pretty loud outside. There is always fabrication and grinding happening in the other units. We usually have some tea together in the late afternoon. That is when the pace of the day slows down a bit. It is not a glamorous job. It is just honest work dealing with metal and keeping track of our orders. Sometimes the power cuts out for an hour. That is typical for the Gidc. We just sit and wait it out.
