Tool Craft Engineering Company is located right in the middle of Phase IV at GIDC Estate. If you know Vitthal Udhyog Nagar, you know it’s a place where things actually get made. Our plot, No-705/10, is where we do all our engineering work. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day, so it's not the kind of place for a quiet chat. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and measuring things twice because mistakes cost money and time. It’s greasy work, and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon. We started out small and just kept adding a machine here and there when we could afford it. It’s not a shiny corporate office; it’s a workshop where people wear overalls and get their hands dirty. We deal with a lot of local guys who need specific parts made or repaired. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets a bit much during the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We don’t do big fancy presentations or use big words. We just look at the job, see if we can do it, and then get to it. It’s been our life for years now, and we’re used to the smell of oil and the sound of the lathe. It's loud, it's messy, but it's what we do.
