Our place is located on Sojitra Road, specifically in Shivaji Nagar over in Phase-Iv of Karamsad. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops. NESCO LTD. has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s not the quietest place to be, with the trucks coming in and out of the industrial zone all day long, but we’re used to it. The morning shift usually starts early before the sun gets too high. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because we deal with a lot of equipment. There’s always someone moving something or some machine running in the background. It’s a busy atmosphere. Sometimes the Sojitra Road traffic gets backed up, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn into the phase. Inside, the floors are concrete and there’s always a bit of dust, which is just part of the territory in an industrial zone like this. We have a small group of workers who live nearby and they’ve been with us through thick and thin. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The focus is really just on getting through the daily list of tasks. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so there’s a sense of community among the businesses here. We just try to stay consistent and keep things moving every day without too much fuss or extra talk.
