Stambhtirth Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Vadola village, which is in the Khambhat taluka. We are right near the bus stand, at Dipakbhai Vinodbhai Patel’s place. It’s a handy spot because everyone passes by the bus stand eventually. We started this because farming in Khambhat has its own set of challenges, and it felt right to face them together. We aren't experts with degrees; we are just people who have been farming this land for a long time. Our days are filled with the usual stuff—checking the weather, looking at the crops, and trying to figure out the best way to get things to market without losing money. It is a slow process and there is a lot of waiting involved. Sometimes the paperwork for the company gets a bit much, and we’d rather be out in the fields, but it has to be done. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just want the farmers in Vadola to have a fair shake. Being near the bus stand means we hear all the news from the other villages too. It keeps us connected. We are just a local group, nothing corporate or fancy about us. We focus on the soil and the people, and we try to make sure that at the end of the season, there is enough for everyone to keep going. It is just life in the village.
