Madehpura Kosi Poultry Farmer Producer is located in Shakarpur village, specifically in the area called Tolashakarpura. We are at Abhishek Anand’s place. We focus on poultry, which means we spend a lot of time around chickens and feed. It's not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we do. Our group was started so we could help the local poultry farmers in the Kosi region get a better deal. Dealing with birds takes a lot of patience and you have to be there every day. There aren't many holidays when you're looking after livestock. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we are out in the sheds or talking to suppliers on the road. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a marketing team or big ads. People in the Shakarpur panchayat know us because we live and work right here. We try to keep the birds healthy and make sure the eggs or meat get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes things go wrong, but we just deal with it. We aren't trying to be a massive company. We just want to make poultry farming a bit more stable for everyone in our little corner of the world. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
