Anklav Farmer Producer Company Limited has its small office at FF/38 in the Om Sharnam Complex. This is right in Anklav, and we are set up in the space provided by Laljibhai Vihabhai Rabari. It’s on the first floor, so you have to head up the stairs of the complex. The building is usually full of people going to the different shops and offices. Anklav is a place where agriculture is the main thing, so we get a lot of visitors coming in from the nearby fields. Our office isn't very large, just some plastic chairs and a big table where we spread out all the forms and maps. We spend most of our time discussing how to get better yields or managing the supplies for the members. It gets a bit noisy in the complex during the afternoons when the market is at its peak. Laljibhai is often there, helping to keep things organized. We aren't a big corporate entity with shiny logos. We are just local people trying to make a difference for the farmers around here. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit by the window to catch the breeze. It’s a practical place for practical work.
