Steefo Engg Corpn is situated at 12, New Ahmedabad Industrial Estate. We are out on the Sarkhej-Bavla Road in Changodar. It is a bit of a drive from the main part of Ahmedabad, but this is where all the heavy industry happens. The estate is huge and there are factories everywhere. Our place is full of steel and big machinery. It’s a loud environment where we do a lot of heavy engineering and fabrication. You won't find anyone in a clean shirt here for very long because of the dust and the metalwork. We’ve been operating in Changodar for quite some years. The road outside is always busy with big trailers and trucks carrying materials. Inside our gates, it is all about the production schedule and getting the engineering projects finished. We have a dedicated crew who knows how to handle the equipment. It is not the kind of place you visit if you want to stay clean. We have our offices on-site too, but they are just basic rooms for the engineers to look at plans and the clerks to do the paperwork. It’s an industrial life. We deal with high temperatures and heavy lifting every day. It is a tough job but it is what we do. We are just one of the many companies in this industrial belt making things out of steel.
