Professor

My place is over in Mohalla Bhora Sahib in Anandpur Sahib. It is actually the house of Pritam Pal Singh, which most people around here know as Phul Niwas. I have been teaching and working from this spot for quite some time now. People just call me the Professor because that is what I do. It is a quiet neighborhood, mostly families and folks who have lived here for generations. The house is simple, and I usually sit in the front room where there is plenty of light. I do not have a big staff or anything like that. It is just me and some books and whatever work needs finishing that day. Sometimes students drop by or neighbors stop to chat for a bit. Anandpur Sahib is a peaceful place to be, especially near the Mohalla. I try to stay busy with my studies and helping anyone who comes through the door with a question. The winters get a bit chilly here, but the tea stays hot. I do not really have a sign outside, people just know where I live. It is a comfortable life, nothing too complicated. I have lived here long enough that I know every turn in the road. Mostly, I just want to keep sharing what I know while I can and stay involved in the community.
