Bbc English Center

Our center, Bbc English Center, is located at A 5 in Urmi Society. We are right opposite the Jagnath Mahadev temple in Anand, which is a great landmark because everyone knows where it is. Being in a society like Urmi means it’s a bit more residential and quieter than the main markets. You can often hear the temple bells from our rooms, which is a nice sound to have in the background while we work. We have a few rooms set up with chairs and tables for our students. It’s not a massive school, just a cozy place where people come to improve their English. We spend a lot of time with books and pens, marking papers and talking through grammar points. Sometimes we have tea breaks and everyone just chats about their day. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. The building itself is older, and the paint is peeling a little bit near the windows, but it doesn’t bother us much. We care more about what’s happening inside. The students come from all over Anand, some walking and some on their scooters. We’ve been here at A 5 for a while now, and we’ve seen many people pass through our doors. It’s rewarding to see someone get better at a language, though it takes a lot of patience from everyone involved. We just keep at it, day after day, teaching and learning.
