Electrical Design Engineer

I’ve been working as an Electrical Design Engineer out of my place near the government school in Tkpattinum for quite a few years now. The address is 46, and it’s right there in Pnkuppam Post, Cuddalore. Most days are pretty quiet, and you can hear the kids playing during their break times at the school nearby. I mostly spend my time hunched over a desk dealing with drawings and technical plans. It isn't always the most exciting work, but it needs to be done right so the builders don't run into trouble later on. I moved here a long time ago and settled into this rhythm of work. Cuddalore can get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so I try to get most of my heavy thinking done in the early morning when it’s still a bit cool. Sometimes people from the village drop by just to ask about a small electrical issue they are having at home, and I try to help out if I can. My setup isn't anything like those big offices you see in the city. It’s just a simple room with my computer, a lot of paper, and my drawing tools. I handle the designs for various projects around the district. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure everything follows the local codes. Sometimes the power goes out and I have to wait for it to come back before I can finish a digital file, but that’s just how it is living here. It’s steady work and it keeps me busy enough throughout the week.
