We’ve been at Plot 50 in the GIDC area of V U Nagar for quite a long time now. Our place is tucked away near the Khodabhai M Luhar Residency. It’s not hard to find if you know the area, but the GIDC can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We deal with paint and that’s pretty much it. Every day we are surrounded by cans, buckets, and the smell of solvents. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Our building is a simple structure that’s seen better days, honestly. The walls could probably use a coat of the very paint we sell. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy pallets and making sure the stock is where it should be. Sometimes we get the orders exactly right and other times we have to double-check everything twice because mistakes happen. It’s just us here, a small group of people who have worked together for years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or leather chairs. We have a few old wooden desks and a lot of shelving. People from the nearby residency often see us loading up trucks early in the morning. The sun gets really hot on the metal roof during the summer months. We just keep the fans going and get through the day. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of business.
