Our place is out in New Vallabh Vidyanagar, right in the middle of the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation area. It is Plot 1503/4, so it’s tucked away a bit in the Vitthal Udyognagar Ina section. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from trucks and other factories around us. We are an electrical company, so we have a lot of parts and wires lying around the workshop. It gets really hot here in the summer months, and the fans just move the warm air around. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. The team is just a handful of people who know their way around electrical components. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone working at a bench or looking at some drawings. It’s a busy life in GIDC. Most of our neighbors are also making things or fixing things, so there’s a feeling of everyone just trying to get their work done. We usually have tea at the same time every afternoon when the local vendor comes by. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it works for what we do. People find us by looking for the sign near the main road of the estate. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in.
