State Cut

State Cut is located on Street No. 9 in the Main Bazaar of Pawan Nagar. We are in Amritsar, specifically behind the Celebration Mall. You can hear the noise from the mall sometimes, but Street No. 9 is its own little world. The bazaar is always crowded with people buying clothes or food, so there is a lot of energy outside our door. I open the shop and the first thing I do is check if we have enough neck strips and blades for the day. The shop name is State Cut, and we’ve been here for a while now. The 143002 area is quite convenient for people who are already out shopping at the mall but want a quicker, more local place for their hair. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it’s enough to see what I’m doing. I don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that have worked for years. Sometimes I sit on the bench outside when it’s quiet and watch the bikes go by. It’s a basic setup with a few chairs and mirrors. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just cut hair and try to keep the shop clean. It’s a lot of work to keep the dust out since the bazaar is so busy, but we do our best every morning before the first customer arrives.
