Simmy Beauty Saloon & Hair Cut Academy

We are located at Shop No 26/3 in the A Block of Ranjit Avenue. Amritsar is always moving, and this area is no different. We have the salon part and then we also have the academy. It gets pretty noisy because we often have students learning how to cut hair properly. They practice on dummies or sometimes each other when they’re brave enough. It’s right near So Fine, so people find us pretty easily. The shop stays quite busy from morning until evening. We have a lot of different equipment scattered around because of the classes. Sometimes there are more people learning than there are customers, which makes for a lively atmosphere. We try to keep things organized, but with students around, there’s always a bit of a mess to clean up. My sister helps manage the bookings while I handle the training part. We aren’t trying to be the fanciest place in Amritsar. We just want to teach people a skill they can use to make a living. The walls are covered with some charts about hair types and styles. It looks like a workplace because it is one. We use basic products that work well without being too expensive for the locals. It’s a practical place for people who want a decent haircut or want to learn the trade. Some days the tea runs out early, but we just keep going through the work.
