Rk Beauty Saloon

We've been running Rk Beauty Saloon here in Amritsar for a while now. Our shop is number three, right in Katra Sher Singh. If you know the area at all, you probably know where Gian Chand Lassi is. We are situated just near there, so it's a pretty easy landmark to use if you are trying to find us for the first time. It’s a busy part of town but people seem to find their way to us okay. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with shoppers and bikes, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We do hair and face stuff mostly. People come in from the market or after getting a drink nearby. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we get to work every morning. We like being in this part of Amritsar because everything is close by and there is always something going on outside. You can see our sign from the street if you look closely. We try to keep things very simple here. Nothing too fancy, just the basic stuff you need for a haircut or a quick cleanup. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets really busy during the festival season. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Katra Sher Singh over the years, but we’re still in the same spot. It’s easy to find once you get to the lassi shop. We open up early and stay until the evening.
