R. K Hair Cutting Saloon

R. K Hair Cutting Saloon is over in Shivala Colony in Amritsar. We are right next to Chawla Scooter Repair, so you can often hear the sound of engines being revved or tools clanking while you are getting your hair cut. It is a very local kind of place. We do not have any air conditioning or big bright signs, just a simple room with a couple of chairs and some sharp scissors. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main bazar, but we stay busy with the people who live nearby. Many of our customers have been coming here since they were young boys. We do the basic cuts and shaves that most men are looking for. There is no need for fancy appointments; people just show up and wait their turn on the bench. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to the guys from the scooter shop when things are slow. It is a small business and we handle everything ourselves, from cutting the hair to sweeping up the floor at the end of the night. The 143001 area is our home and we like being part of the community here. If you need a quick trim and do not want to deal with the crowds in the center of town, our spot in Shivala Colony is a good choice.
