Ramesh Seed Store

You can find us right across from Hall Gate in the Old Sabzi Mandi area. Ramesh Seed Store has been in this spot for years. It's a busy part of town, always a lot of noise and people moving about. We open up early because that’s when the farmers are out. The shop is filled with bags of seeds, and it smells like earth and burlap in here. We don't have fancy displays. Just shelves and stacks of what people need for their fields. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone comes in at once before the sowing season. My hands are usually covered in dust by noon. We talk a lot about the rain and what the soil is doing this year. It’s just how things are done here. You walk in, tell us what you’re looking for, and we find it in the back. We try to keep things organized, but it's a small space and there’s always more stock arriving. It's an old building, so it stays a bit cool in the summer, which is nice. We don’t spend money on big ads. People just know we are here. If you miss the turn at Hall Gate, you'll have to circle back through the traffic. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with the carts and bikes, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
