Radhakrishna Agro

We've been running Radhakrishna Agro for quite a few years now. You can find our place at 291 Green Avenue, right on the Airport Road. It gets pretty loud with the planes overhead, but you get used to it after a while. Mostly we spend our days dealing with seeds, fertilizers, and different kinds of farming tools. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and my clothes usually show it by the end of the day. My brother helps out in the mornings, and we have a couple of guys who come in when we get a big shipment. The shop isn't anything special to look at. Just a lot of metal shelves and heavy bags stacked up on pallets. We try to keep things organized, but when it’s planting season, the whole place gets a bit chaotic. People stop by on their way to the airport or coming back into town. We know most of the local farmers by their first names. We sit around the front desk and talk about the rain or the lack of it. It’s hard work, especially lifting those fifty-kilo sacks. My back usually starts aching by five o’clock. But it’s a good living. Green Avenue is a nice enough spot, even if the traffic gets a bit jammed in the evenings. We keep the doors open six days a week, and sometimes on Sundays if the work piles up too much. It’s just us doing our thing here.
