Navodaya Trading Company

You can find Navodaya Trading Company right across from the State College of Education at No. 22, Ranjit Bagh. Having the college right there means there are always students walking past and a lot of activity in the street. Our building is a bit older and has that character you only get with time. Inside, we handle all sorts of trading tasks that keep us busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. The walls are lined with shelves and there are usually some boxes sitting in the hallway waiting to be sorted. It’s not the most modern setup you’ve ever seen, but it works for what we do. We have a small crew here and we all know each other’s families by now. Sometimes we stand by the window and watch the traffic or the students heading to their classes. Our day is mostly filled with checking stock, talking to suppliers, and making sure the deliveries are on time. It can be stressful when things get backed up, but we just take it one task at a time. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just trade goods and try to keep the business running smoothly in this little corner of Ranjit Bagh. It is honest work and we have been doing it this way for as long as I can remember.
