So we are based out of Village Mehta Chowk. It’s a quiet place mostly, out here in the Tehsil Baba Bakala part of Amritsar. My name is Amerjit Singh and the business, Frence Vet Care And Feeds Llp, is actually run right out of House Number 50. Dealing with animals and their feed is just what people do around here, so it felt right to start this up. We spend a lot of time looking at different feed types and making sure the local livestock get what they need. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a house in the village where we keep our records and talk to people who come by. Punjab can get really hot in the summer, so the mornings are usually our busiest time before it gets too much to be outside. We’ve been here for a bit now and people know where to find us. If you’re coming from the main part of Amritsar, it takes a little while to reach Mehta Chowk but once you're in the village, H. No. 50 isn't hard to spot. We mostly handle the vet care side and the feed supplies for the farmers nearby. It’s honest work, and we try to keep things simple. No big corporate meetings here, just us figuring out the day's tasks and making sure the orders for the feed are moving along. Sometimes the rain slows things down on the village roads, but we manage.
