N K Salon

You can find N K Salon over in Kot Khalsa, Amritsar. We are located very close to the railway fatak, which means we spend our whole day hearing the trains go past and the bells ringing at the crossing. It’s a very local part of Amritsar, and the street outside our door is usually filled with bikes and people trying to beat the train. The salon itself is just a small room with a couple of chairs and some basic hair cutting tools. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works hard to keep the air moving when it gets humid. We do the usual stuff like haircuts, shaves, and maybe a head massage if someone has the time for it. It’s a simple neighborhood shop where the local men come to catch up on news and get a trim. The walls are a bit plain, and the floor is old, but it’s a comfortable enough place for the people who live around Kot Khalsa. We don't have a website or any fancy booking system; people just walk in and wait their turn on the bench. Being near the railway crossing means we get a lot of people stopping in while they wait for the tracks to clear. It’s a busy, noisy little corner of the city, and we’ve been here long enough that the train noise doesn’t even bother us anymore. We just keep our scissors sharp and stay ready for whoever walks in next.
