Mittal Brick Industry

We are located right near the Main Chowk in Chherta. If you’re passing through the tehsil, you’ve probably seen our stacks of bricks near the crossing. It’s a central spot, which makes it easy for the tractors to come and go without getting lost. We’ve been working here for quite some time now, mostly just focusing on the daily grind of the brick kilns. The dust is just part of the job, and you’ll usually find us covered in it by noon. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the people who stop by. We don’t really do fancy advertising because word of mouth in Chherta usually does the trick. When the season is right, the place is buzzing with activity. We have to watch the weather closely because a sudden downpour can mess up a whole batch of unburnt bricks. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s what we know. The yard is usually full of workers moving things around or loading up trailers for the next delivery. We just try to keep up with the demand from the nearby villages. It’s not a complicated business, just making sure the fire stays hot and the bricks come out solid. We’ve seen many houses in this area built with what we make right here at the chowk. It is just the way we have always done things around here, keeping it local and steady.
