We’ve been here at No. 77 Katra Moti Ram for a long while now. It’s a busy spot and people know where to find us. My father started things off and I just kept it going. We handle a lot of different items depending on what people are asking for that week. It gets crowded in this part of town, especially in the mornings when the deliveries come in. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the shop and the stock we keep on the shelves. Sometimes the lights flicker when it rains hard, but that’s just how it is around here. We open early and stay until the shutters go down in the evening. Most of our neighbors have been around as long as we have. We know the tea seller on the corner and the guys who haul the crates. It isn't a complicated way to spend the day. You show up, you talk to the customers, you count the inventory. If someone needs something specific, we try to get it for them if it's possible. There’s a lot of dust from the street and we spend a good chunk of the morning just wiping things down. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the shop running and making sure the orders go out correctly. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood, the door is usually open. It's mostly just us and the regulars passing through.
