Kaler Bricks

Kaler Bricks is located right in the village of Kaler, over in Taran Taran district. We are pretty easy to find if you’re driving through the village area. The kiln is the main thing you'll see. We spend most of our time out in the fields near the kilns. It’s a lot of work with soil and water. We don’t have a proper office, just a small room with a table where we keep our logbooks. The local guys from the village help us out with the heavy lifting. This life is pretty tough but it's what we know. Taran Taran has a lot of farming, so we often supply bricks to the farmers building new storage or fixing their homes. We rely a lot on the weather. If it’s too humid, the bricks don't dry right. If it rains, we have to scramble to cover the unbaked ones with plastic sheets. Sometimes we lose a few batches, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a website or anything. If people want bricks, they just drive up to the site and talk to us. We’ve been part of this village for a long time. The dust gets everywhere, in your hair and clothes, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s just us and the land here.
