Jagdish Metal Works

We have been here at I. S. Hathi Gate for a long time now. Kalyan Singh Road is always busy, but we manage to get our work done in the middle of it all. Working with metal isn't the cleanest job in the world, you know. There is usually dust and the sound of machines going most of the day. It’s a bit loud. Some days the heat from the furnace gets to be a lot, especially during the summer months. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be made. Most people around here know where we are. We don’t have any fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop where the real work happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks find it hard to navigate the road because it's a bit narrow near the gate, but we usually figure it out. It’s just how things are here. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and making sure things aren't sitting around for too long. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and making sure the cuts are right. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon. That is just part of the life when you run a place like Jagdish Metal Works. We don’t really talk much about big plans. We just wake up, come to the shop, and handle the metal pieces that are waiting for us. It keeps us busy enough for the day to pass quickly.
