Shri Guru Hargobind Steel

You can find Shri Guru Hargobind Steel right near the railway station in Guru Ki Nagri. We have been here for a long time, and our mailing address is just Post Box No. 4. Being so close to the station means it is always loud, but it is good for moving our steel around. We do not have a polished showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just a yard and a small shed where we keep the books and the phone. The work is heavy and tiring. We deal with bars, sheets, and all kinds of raw steel products. My hands are usually stained with rust or grease by the end of the day. We do not put on airs here. If you come by, you will see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a crane or a truck. The neighbors are used to the clanging sounds of metal. We have a small crew, mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We are not looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to provide what the local construction guys need for their projects. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to tell people to wait, but that is just how it goes with steel. The weather affects us too—too much rain makes everything slippery and difficult in the yard. We just take it day by day here in Guru Ki Nagri. It is a tough business, but it is ours.
