Hind Foundry & Workshop

Our foundry and workshop is located right on G.T. Road in Amritsar, near the canal in the Four Field area. It’s an old part of the district. Foundries are hot, dusty places, and ours is no different. We spend the day working with molten metal and molds. It’s heavy work and it takes a lot of patience to get things to cast correctly. We’ve been here for years, and the building shows its age, but the furnaces still work fine. You can see the smoke from the road sometimes. We aren't a corporate setup with fancy uniforms. Most of us are covered in soot by lunch. We make all sorts of metal parts, mainly casting stuff that people can't find elsewhere. The canal nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Traffic on G.T. Road is always a mess, so we usually try to get our deliveries sorted out early in the morning. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sign. The work speaks for itself when someone picks up a finished piece of iron. It’s a tough environment, especially in the middle of summer when the heat from the furnace is unbearable. But we are used to it. We just keep the fires going and handle the orders as they come in. It’s how we've always done things here.
