We set up shop at Plot B-5 and 6 in the New Focal Points area quite some time ago. Mehta Road is usually busy with trucks and people moving materials around. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because the machines we work with are pretty big and heavy. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in overalls most of the day. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there, but that’s expected in a machine shop. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but most people find us eventually. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s mostly just family and a few guys who have been with us for a decade. We talk about the work, have our lunch together, and try to get the orders finished on time. Sometimes the metal delivery is late, which throws everything off, but we manage. People know us in this industrial area because we’ve been here long enough to see the buildings around us change. We just stay focused on the metal and the motors. It’s simple and we like it that way. We keep working until the sun goes down and then lock up for the night.
